  • DVEIN is a director with two heads: one called Teo and the other Carlos. They work in advertising, music videos, and film, and they love experimentation. Their work is characterized by the hybridization of ideas and techniques that merge the real and the digital, creating projects with a mixed-media approach in which they explore the limits of live action, animation, and CGI in order to develop their own visual and aesthetic language.

In film and television, they have created title sequences and scenes where ideas and techniques are hybridized to fuse the real and the digital. Examples include their collaboration with Netflix on the series Brand New Cherry Flavor (Mindfilm, 2021), or their work on films such as A Monster Calls (2016, J.A. Bayona), Spider-Man 3 (2007, Sam Raimi), and EVA (2011, Kike Maíllo), for which they were awarded the Barcelona City Film Prize in 2012.

They have also directed major advertising campaigns such as Welcome to the Factory (2016) for Jean-Paul Gaultier, and Think Again (2009) and Further (2017) for National Geographic.

Their latest production is Obertura (2024), a short film starring Tilda Swinton, created for DELPOZO.

Throughout their career, their projects have been recognized with international awards such as Promax BDA, Ciclope, D&AD, the AICP Awards in the United States, and the LAUS Awards in Spain. In 2013, they received the Fine Arts Medal from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

In 2017, they decided to found DVEIN Films, a film production company from which they produce both their own feature films and short films, as well as those of like-minded filmmakers. Their productions have premiered and received awards at festivals such as Venice, Locarno, Rotterdam, San Sebastián, Mar del Plata, the Seville European Film Festival, and Viennale, among others.
